2D Collisions: By making velocity and angular measurements on a simulated air table, students use vector addition to study conservation of momentum.
Waves

Waves on a Rope: Students study factors affecting wave velocity, reflection from a fixed/free end, and constructive/destructive interference.

Wave Addition: Students adjust the amplitude, wavelength, and phase shift of two waves and are then able to generate the resultant wave.
Heat

Ideal Gas: The pressure, volume, temperature relationship for an ideal gas is investigated using a movable piston in a cylinder and a P-V diagram.
